The Alamo chapter members have until 8 October 2011 to recruit as many CyberPatriot teams as we can. It works like this:

Recruiting Check List:

1.      Identify prospective CAP, JROTC units, and schools

2.      Approach units and schools by going through the Principle or Assistant Principle

3.      Explain and give them information on CyberPatriot IV

4.      Ask if you could speak to any teachers who might be interested in becoming coaches

5.      Relieve tech fears--training/software and mentors are available

6.      Relieve money fears--grants are available

7.      Tell teachers how to register their teams: First a teacher registers online as a coach then the coach/teacher will receive email allowing them to register their team of up to 5 students.

Recruiting Mentors:

The Alamo chapter members have until 8 October 2011 to recruit as many CyberPatriot mentors as we can. Mentors assist the teacher/coach. Mentors can sign up online. Hint: this would be a great job for ROTC students.
